Dan Buettner is an explorer, National Geographic Fellow, award-winning journalist and producer, and New York Times bestselling author. He discovered the five places in the world – dubbed blue zones hotspots – where people live the longest, healthiest lives. Dan Buettner is the founder of Blue Zones project, an organization that helps people enjoy high longevity, healthier lives and strong aging.
His groundbreaking work on longevity led to his 2005 National Geographic cover story “Secrets of Living Longer”. Dan Buettner books include two national bestsellers – The Blue Zones: Lessons for Living Longer From the People Who’ve Lived the Longest and Thrive.
